24/25 Shirt Design: Meet the Artist

A Warrington native, Henbo grew up in a house full of Manchester United fans. “My dad and cousins are United fans and when I chose Liverpool, he was fine with it as long as I stuck with them."

Henbo is co-owner of Greenpoint tattoo shop Good Luck NYC and the shop actually sponsors Jarrell Quansah’s old youth club, Woolston Rovers FC. “My mate starting coaching the young lads and was looking for a sponsor so I was glad to offer.”

Some of Henbo’s past collaborations include Heatonist and Dave’s New York but his love of illustrating goes beyond tattoos with his monsters extending to prints, apparel, shoes and NFT’s.

Henbo’s been a good pal to my partner and I the last few years so it was natural for me to get my first Liverpool tattoo from him. My modest little Mo Salamander below and my partner has a Liverbird vs King Kong battle royale in the works.

“Mo Salamander, Mo Salamander, running down the stream. Sala, la, la, la, the Amphibian King.”

When asked what he’s most excited for this season: “To see the youngsters come through!”
