Daragh Kennedy - President
president@lfcny.org membership@lfcny.org
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I have been living in the New York/New Jersey area since December, 1989. I manage the relationship with LFC, and the entire ticket allocation process. I also have worked to bring in all the former players to our club. I am currently responsible for the club email distribution, and member database maintenance, and work with all of the rest of the committee members to ensure the club is run smoothly, and that we are providing the best services possible to our members. I was one of the first LFCNY members, and have been president since our first year, 1995. I manage the relationship with Liverpool Football club, and have successfully brought four former players (Phil Neal, Ian Callaghan, Jimmy Melia, and Jan Molby) to New York to meet and interact with our members. I am responsible for all individual ticket requests for our members. I also act as the liaison between all the LFC supporters clubs worldwide. In addition, I set the agenda for all of our committee meetings and A.G.M.'s, compose and distribute the club emails and manage the member database. I have had the fortune of meeting many ex reds and have seen the reds in action on many occasions, including some incredible games like the the second 4-3 match against Newcastle in 1997, the UEFA Cup final in Dortmund in 2001, and the Champions League Final in Istanbul in 2005.
Nathan Smith - Vice President
nathan@lfcny.org podcast@lfcny.org
Nathan played a pivotal role in developing our club merchandise store, and now has the enviable role of following Conor Brennan as the man who runs our club podcast. Originally from small-town Lincolnshire, via a long stint in London, I moved to New York at the beginning of 2008. One of the leaving gifts from my friends in London was membership of LFCNY. I would avoid Anfield on any days when I?m attending a game, as I usually inspire a disappointing performance against mid-table opposition.
Chris Cummings - Event Coordinator
I am originally from Aigburth, Liverpool where I lived and worked until the very beginning of 2006 when I moved to New York. I lived in Brooklyn at first but then moved to Manhattan in 2008. I work as a Cost Manager for a UK based Construction Consultancy. I joined LFCNY even before I arrived in New York and have made some of my best friends through the club. I joined the committee in June 2008 and have helped organize charity football games against other supporter clubs, food drives and worked with the bar to give the supporters a better experience. I am at the bar for most games and will always be around to welcome any new people, sign new members up, sell t shirts and scarves and liaise with the bar in organizing opening times etc. Chris took on the role of secretary for us last season, but due to Mike Bains's departure, has agreed to take on the role of event coordinator, which involves working with Downtown United Soccer Club, local charities, the New York Red Bulls, and the 11th Street Bar to coordinate local gigs and charity events.

Duncan McVerry - Treasurer
This role has evolved significantly over the years, and the treasurer's role for next season will be to oversee all aspects of our finances from our paypal account, to paying for LFC tickets using our club debit card. Born in Dublin, but moved to the UK when I was 7 - to the NW, so I'm not a complete out of towner. Moved to New York in November 1999. Obviously I researched the club before I moved and from (my fading) memory, my first game would have been either a 4-1 home win against Sheffield Wednesday or the 2-0 away win against Huddersfield in the FA Cup 3rd round in December 1999. I've been in Manhattan almost 10 years and I work for an integrated marketing agency as the financial director; my role in my job extends to the club where I am treasurer. I've been a member of the LFCNY since my arrival in New York almost 10 years ago.
Dwayne Duprey - LFCNY - LFCNY Kopites - Webmaster
Dwayne compiled our existing website, which was a huge improvement for us, and is working behind the scenes to build a revised site in time for next season. Dwayne also is tasked with maintaining the information flow on the site, and updating all the pertinent information. Originally from Aigburth, Liverpool, I moved to New York at the beginning of 2005. In April of 2009, I formed the LFCNY Kopites, another supporters branch within New York City that houses our ever expanding LFC fanbase outside of LFCNY. I am also working as webmaster for the LFCNY site.
Chris Andrade - Secretary
Chris served as our secretary before work and school requirements led her to relinquish that role in 2009. The secretary's role is a crucial one, and a very busy one, particularly at the start of the season. The role manages the flow of membership data, and t-shirt distribution both at the bar, and through our website.
Greg Fleece - Design
Originally from Louisville, KY, I left in 1998 to pursue my dream of a successful design career in the big city. Before moving to New York City, though, I first felt a need to extend my design skills with graduate studies in Atlanta. In 2002 I bought a one way ticket to NYC from Atlanta and never looked back. I lived in Manhattan for 5 years on both sides of Central Park, and I now reside in Riverdale, in the Bronx. I became a fan of Liverpool in the 2004/2005 season when I became bored with American sports and wanted to learn a new sport. I decided that the Premier League was the best option due to the abundance of good teams within it (it was an added bonus to understand the language). Initially, I had a few teams in mind, but ultimately I fell in love with the passion of Liverpool: evident in the both players and fans. Needless to say, the Champions League win of 2005 only fueled the fire and I have been obsessed with the team ever since. My role in the club is to keep the brand and identity of LFCNY consistent across all mediums. I have designed logos, t-shirts, scarves, to name a few. I've been a proud member of the club since 2006 and on the committee as of the summer of 2007. Greg is the man responsible for keeping our brand consistent across our logos, website, t-shirt design etc, and has come up with some of the best designs for our club over the last 3 years.
Jerome Brissett - Football coordinator
I became a Liverpool fan after I did copious amount of research and realized that they won the most trophies and I loved how I looked in the red kit. Just kidding. I was born in place called St. Anns Bay in Jamaica and I've been a Reds fan since the first time I watched Ian Rush round a keeper and slot the ball into an empty net. The signing of John Barnes only heightened my love for the team. I moved to the US in 1989. I didn't realize that moving to one of the richest countries in the world meant I was moving to the backwaters of the football world. I guess you don't know what you have 'til it's gone. On a good day I would get league updates a week late. I've been a member of LFCNY since 2000 and I've been a committee member for the last three years. My role on the committee is to secure seasonal field permits for our club football in NYC. In my other life, I work in Online Advertising. Jerome organizes the permits for our club which allows us to offer football to our members for a nominal fee, in New York.
Denise Vasel- Sponsorship
This is a new role as we recognize that this is an area we have not been very successful in. This role will encompass reaching out to companies who have ties to LFC, and build a relationship with them. Some examples include Adidas, Standard Chartered Bank, Fado and Magners.

Michael Duggan - External Communications
Irish expat living in Saint Louis , Missouri for 9 years. I am a complete out of towner. Second year committee member. My role will be to ensure those living outside of New York like myself have a voice and are well looked after. I've been a member of LFCNY for about 6 years. Lucky enough to have been at Anfield 30 something times including several LFC v Man Utd games but never seen the pool win one versus them yet. I do marketing for a copper company. Married with a missus and have a son. Open to bribes. - Michael's role is to interact with out of town members of LFCNY, other U.S. and International Supporters Clubs. Establish and manage Facebook page, review opportunity for blog/twitter and other social medias as well as other external means of communication for the promotion of LFCNY, and interaction by its members.
